The organization operates an open enrollment period from November 1 to January 15, allowing most Coloradans to sign up for health coverage for the following year. Connect for Health Colorado provides a platform to compare healthcare plans, estimate savings, and determine eligibility for financial assistance through Premium Tax Credits. It also offers resources for special enrollment groups, including young adults, Native Americans, and immigrant families, as well as options for small business owners. The marketplace aims to assist consumers in navigating their health insurance options and accessing necessary coverage with potential financial help to lower monthly premiums.Health Insurance • Healthcare • Health Insurance Plans• Connect for Health Colorado is a public, non-profit entity created to establish a health insurance Marketplace • The Senior Director of Marketing and Communications will direct and execute the comprehensive marketing and communications strategy • Responsibilities include leading the marketing team, overseeing brand assets, and ensuring consistent messaging • Direct implementation of marketing plans across internal and external audiences • Collaborate with management to ensure accountability and efficiency of the MarCom function • Responsible for the development of communications, including crisis communications and internal strategies • Mentor the MarCom team and manage personnel actions• Colorado resident • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism or a related field; advanced degree preferred • 10+ years of relevant marketing and communications experience • Significant time in a leadership role with direct team management in a corporate enterprise, government institution or non-profit entity • Strong executive presence and experience engaging with C-level leaders • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong EQ and personal leadership skills • Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing and communications initiatives • Strong understanding of product marketing and business/customer growth strategies • Strong understanding of digital marketing landscape • Strong analytical skills to measure effectiveness and ROI • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software• Competitive benefits package • Various offerings to tailor a package to individual needs • Eligibility to participate in a 403(b) plan • Paid time off • Short- and long-term disability • Life insurance
