Job Overview

Contribute to the design, development, and support of Juju, enabling automation and management of software on public/private cloud, Kubernetes, and bare-metal.
Engage with a distributed team in a remote-first work environment, with global travel opportunities for team events.
Collaborate on open-source initiatives impacting global enterprises and technology markets.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver features for highly concurrent, distributed systems in Go.
Proactively collaborate with global team members to solve technical challenges.
Debug issues and interact with upstream open-source communities.
Contribute to internal and external open-source projects relied upon by major industry leaders.
Participate in regular global team sprints and events.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficient in Go programming language.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, especially in online settings.
Strong academic record from high school and preferably university.
Experience with distributed systems, containers, and cloud technologies is a plus.
Willingness to travel internationally up to 4 times a year.
