LLVM Compiler Developer

Access Softek is seeking experienced Compiler Developers to join our renowned LLVM team. You will work on enhancing and extending the LLVM and Clang-based toolchain, supporting a range of platforms from established to emerging. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to contribute to open source, collaborate with the global LLVM community, and help build high-performance, production-grade software in a flexible and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and design enhancements for the LLVM/Clang toolchain to meet client needs.
• Extend LLVM, Clang, and binutils codebases to support various platforms.
• Collaborate with the LLVM community, contributing public patches and participating in code reviews.
• Debug, build, and analyze platform code and specific tests; identify and resolve system-level issues.
• Develop and maintain target-specific and platform-specific tests.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of C and C++ (including modern standards).
• Proven experience in compiler design, code generation, and optimization.
• Strong understanding of cross-compilation, GCC or Clang toolchains.
• In-depth knowledge of multithreading and object-oriented analysis/design.
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation.
• Track record of building high-performance, production-quality software.
• Excellent English communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with assemblers, linkers, object file formats, and debuggers is a plus.
• Experience with *nix tools, build systems (CMake, make), and scripting (Python, Bash) is beneficial.
