Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a distributed engineering team in your time zone.
Drive technical strategy and execution for MAAS using Python and Go.
Collaborate with internal teams, the open source community, and partners.
Advocate and implement modern software development practices.
Participate in code and architectural reviews to ensure quality and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science with strong academic background.
Technical leadership and hands-on software engineering experience.
Proficiency in Python, Golang, or similar programming languages.
Deep familiarity with Linux servers, storage, and networking.
Experience with containers, K8S, and Linux system administration (Debian/Ubuntu preferred).
Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud computing technologies.
Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
Experience with agile development methodologies and team mentoring.
Ability to travel internationally for company events.
Bonus: Experience with Typescript and modern web frameworks; data center infrastructure design.
