On-Call Animator

Job Overview

Udacity is seeking an on-call Animator to partner with Designers and Editors in creating course and marketing content. This remote position involves creating 2D or 3D animations using After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop, following storyboards and production scripts, and collaborating with the project team.

Responsibilities

• Create animated 2D or 3D videos
• Create assets in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Follow storyboards & production scripts
• Communicate frequently with the project team
• Organize assets in a standard file structure

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience with After Effects
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud
• Experience with animation software and plugins
• Strong layout and typography skills
• System requirements met (e.g., Windows 7,8,10 or Mac OS, 16GB RAM)
