We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Structural Drafting Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on creating precise 2D structural drawings and supporting engineering projects through detailed technical documentation. You will collaborate with engineers to develop and refine design plans for various construction projects, ensuring technical accuracy and organized record-keeping. This is a remote, part-time position, ideal for experienced drafters looking to contribute their expertise and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Create detailed 2D structural design drawings using AutoCAD.
Develop architectural and engineering plans for construction projects.
Collaborate with engineers to refine and update design drawings.
Review and verify technical drawings for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain organized digital and physical drawing archives.
Assist in preparing presentation materials for client meetings.
Update existing drawings based on design modifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience with AutoCAD software.
Strong proficiency in 2D drafting techniques.
Solid understanding of structural engineering principles.
Excellent attention to detail and technical precision.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Basic knowledge of structural materials.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Part-time availability (20-25 hours per week).
