This remote, full-time opportunity allows you to lead and inspire a team of product designers dedicated to advancing cloud infrastructure automation solutions. Job Overview

Lead the product design function for Terraform at HashiCorp.
Oversee a team of designers and drive a culture of innovation and user-centered design.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and leadership teams.
Ensure design excellence and consistency across Terraform product offerings.
Champion best practices in remote teamwork and communication.

Key Responsibilities

Mentor and manage a distributed team of product designers.
Define design strategies that align with Terraform’s business objectives.
Guide product research and usability testing to inform product development.
Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver compelling user experiences.
Drive continuous improvement in design processes and team collaboration.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience managing product design teams, ideally in SaaS or cloud infrastructure domains.
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure automation and DevOps principles.
Expertise in design systems, UX/UI principles, and user research methodologies.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, especially in remote settings.
Proficiency with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
