Customer.io is seeking a talented and experienced Product Design Manager to join our team remotely from anywhere in the Americas. In this full-time role, you will lead and mentor a team of product designers, driving innovative solutions that help power automated communications people love to receive. You will play a key role in shaping user experiences and ensuring our products meet the highest standards of usability and design excellence.

Job Overview

Lead and manage the product design team in a fully remote environment.
Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams.
Develop design strategies for automated communication solutions.
Foster a culture of creativity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Mentor and support product designers to achieve their professional goals.
Oversee the creation of intuitive, user-centered designs for our platform.
Ensure consistency in design language and best practices across products.
Work cross-functionally to align design vision with business objectives.
Advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in product design management or a similar leadership role.
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX/UI design.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience working remotely with distributed teams.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Familiarity with SaaS platforms and automated communication products.
