Salesforce Release Engineer

Job Overview

• Oversee the deployment and maintenance of Salesforce environments, including Development, Sandbox, UAT, and Production.
• Implement automated testing and deployment strategies using modern DevOps tools.
• Configure and optimize Salesforce platform features to meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex deployments and coordinate releases with cross-functional teams.
• Utilize tools like Salesforce DX, Copado, and Gearset for automated testing and deployments.
• Configure custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and security settings.
• Oversee sandbox refreshes, data seeding, and environment maintenance.
• Execute data imports, exports, and quality maintenance using Data Loader and other tools.
• Monitor system performance and implement optimizations.
• Develop backup and disaster recovery processes for Salesforce data and metadata.
• Partner with development teams to deploy Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning components.
• Stay current with Salesforce updates and drive adoption of new features.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4-5 years of Salesforce administration experience with deep platform knowledge.
• Hands-on release management experience with deployment tools such as Salesforce DX, Change Sets, Copado, or Gearset.
• Strong foundation in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in multi-environment release cycles.
• Proficient in data management and mass operations.
• Performance troubleshooting and optimization skills.
• Version control experience with Git and branching strategies.
• Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201/211) and Platform App Builder certifications preferred.
• Experience implementing automation and process improvements in Salesforce environments.
