Job Overview

You will join a dynamic team responsible for delivering accurate, reliable, and timely healthcare data from thousands of global sources. Your expertise will help shape data solutions that are robust, scalable, and aligned with best practices, supporting both technical and business stakeholders in achieving optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources.
  • Implement comprehensive data quality checks, monitoring, and logging to ensure high data governance standards.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of data systems and resolve data-related issues.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to enhance data architecture and infrastructure.
  • Support data integration efforts, ensure data consistency and accuracy, and document workflows for transparency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of data engineering experience with large-scale data systems and pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
  • Strong SQL skills, including writing optimized and complex queries for large datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with big data tools such as Apache Spark, especially on AWS EMR or similar cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with Docker or other containerization technologies.
  • Demonstrated focus on data quality, reliability, and observability.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to performance optimization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code and following best practices.
  • Desire to learn, grow, and take increasing ownership of key projects.
