As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll work remotely with a world-class team to build and optimize intelligent applications atop the Tether SDK, empowering users with seamless, secure, and efficient digital solutions.

Job Overview

This role focuses on building and maintaining backend services and APIs for AI-enhanced desktop and hybrid mobile apps, optimizing performance, and ensuring platform consistency. You'll collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, responsive, and secure solutions that power innovative financial products used worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services and APIs for AI-driven desktop and mobile applications.
Collaborate with desktop and React Native teams to design platform-aware API contracts.
Optimize performance and resource usage, handling concurrent AI model invocations and system constraints.
Ensure secure, scalable, and efficient integration of AI features within Electron-based or hybrid clients.
Participate in the development of complex platforms and quickly adapt to emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

6+ years of experience with Node.js and JavaScript.
Proven experience in desktop application development (Electron, Tauri, or similar frameworks).
Familiarity with React Native or bridging backend systems into hybrid stacks.
Strong background in performance optimization and resource management on desktop/mobile clients.
Experience developing secure, complex platforms with a focus on best security practices.
Excellent English communication skills and ability to collaborate in a global remote team.
Ability to learn new technologies rapidly and contribute to innovative solutions.
Nice to have: Secure inter-process communication, peer-to-peer technologies (Kademlia, bittorrent, libp2p), C++/Swift/Kotlin, familiarity with AI/Agentic applications (RAG, AI SDKs), and real-time data streaming.
