As a globally remote member of our team, you will drive next-generation operations at scale, leveraging pure Python infra-as-code for automation across bare metal, containers, and applications. Collaborate with world-class engineers to architect, deploy, and manage mission-critical services for leading global enterprises, all while working in a highly distributed environment and staying at the forefront of cloud technologies.

Job Overview

Design, automate, and operate enterprise cloud infrastructure using open source technologies.
Contribute to the development and deployment of OpenStack, Kubernetes, and software-defined storage solutions.
Champion the scientific approach to scalable operations, driven by metrics and code.
Engage with a diverse, global team and participate in strategic in-person sprints twice yearly.
Ensure robust, secure, and reliable infrastructure for high-profile customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and automate infrastructure using Python and open source tools.
Deploy, operate, and upgrade private and public cloud clusters.
Implement and maintain Kubernetes and OpenStack environments.
Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance using metrics-driven methodologies.
Collaborate with global teams to support mission-critical services and drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
Expertise in Python software development.
Experience with Linux systems, networking, and storage.
Operational experience with OpenStack or Kubernetes deployment.
Familiarity with cloud management (public/private).
Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, and accountability.
Ability to work in a high-pressure, distributed environment.
Willingness to travel internationally for company events.
Commitment to automation and devsecops principles.
Curiosity and eagerness to learn the full open source stack.
