Our team is led by Amit Rao, our founder and Managing Partner, and Shibani Sain, our Partner, who are seasoned consultants with extensive experience in growth strategy and transaction advisory services. Amit Rao's Background Prior to founding STEER, Amit was a Vice President and Partner at Ernst and Young’s former market diligence group advising PE firms on acquisition due diligence.

Previously, Amit was with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in the Corporate and Operations Strategy Consulting Practice and A.T. Kearney where he focused on business improvement and post-merger integration strategies for Fortune 500 clients. He holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Bombay.

Shibani Sain's Background Shibani was an Associate Partner at Monitor Group (now Monitor Deloitte), where she spent 10 years helping large and mid-sized clients identify new growth platforms through acquisitions and partnerships. Shibani has extensive expertise in the consumer products and life science industries. She holds an MSc in Finance from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Bombay.
