AI Agent Engineer Role

Join Teams Squared, a leading Alternate Legal Service Provider (ALSP), as a remote AI Agent Engineer. Work with top-tier legal teams and professionals worldwide to develop intelligent assistants and LLM-driven solutions that streamline legal processes, increase efficiency, and reduce operational costs. Collaborate with experts on innovative projects involving Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), modular AI workflows, and advanced document processing in a flexible, remote-first environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build internal and client-facing AI agents in collaboration with the Lead AI Architect.
• Develop scalable RAG pipelines utilizing content from PDFs, Notion pages, and spreadsheets.
• Write clean, maintainable Python code for orchestrating LLM-driven workflows.
• Integrate OpenAI models (e.g., GPT-4, GPT-4o) using function calling, without reliance on external APIs.
• Optionally, create lightweight Streamlit applications or CLI tools for agent deployment and testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building LLM agents, copilots, or intelligent assistants using LangChain, LangFlow, or OpenAI Assistants API.
• Strong Python development expertise with proven RAG pipeline architecture experience.
• Proficiency in parsing documents from diverse sources, including PDFs, Notion exports, and spreadsheets.
• Solid understanding of prompt engineering, function design, and managing LLM outputs.
• Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Chroma) and embedding models.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, remote environment.
• Front-end skills with tools like Streamlit are a plus.
