Cloud .NET Application Developer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud .NET Software Application Developer to join our team as a senior developer. In this role, you will influence technical direction, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver robust solutions for our clients’ cloud-based systems. You will play a key part in migrating legacy applications to modern .NET standards and ensuring high-quality, maintainable code. Key Responsibilities

• Migrate Job Engine plugins and supporting libraries to .NET Standard 2.0 or .NET 8 in a structured, dependency-based order.
• Ensure shared libraries are compatible with .NET Standard 2.0 for seamless integration across services.
• Address compatibility issues with third-party NuGet packages by upgrading or finding suitable alternatives.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify optimal technical solutions that align with customer goals.
• Participate in the SDLC by following best practices for security, code style, documentation, and pull requests.
• Support production systems by fixing bugs, triaging alerts, and providing fanatical customer support.
• Engage in unit and integration testing for migrated libraries, ensuring stability and reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in C# and .NET development.
• Proficiency in migrating applications from .NET Framework to .NET Standard 2.0 or .NET 8.
• Strong understanding of plugin-based architectures and device polling protocols (such as SNMP or WMI).
• Experience with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and gRPC (preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work both independently and within a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to provide detailed progress updates and collaborate effectively.
• Experience with CI/CD automation (preferred).
• Degree in computer science or a related technology/engineering field (preferred).
• Proactive attitude towards learning, knowledge sharing, and personal development.
