Mattermost is seeking a dynamic Director of Product Marketing to lead the marketing strategy for our flexible, open source messaging platform. This is a full-time, remote opportunity available to candidates across the United States. The Director will drive product positioning, go-to-market initiatives, and support the growth of our innovative platform.

Job Overview

Lead and execute product marketing strategies for Mattermost’s open source messaging platform.
Work remotely with cross-functional teams to drive market adoption and customer success.
Define and communicate product value propositions to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market plans.
Collaborate with product, sales, and engineering teams to ensure alignment.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategy.
Create compelling messaging and positioning for target audiences.
Support sales enablement with effective tools and materials.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in product marketing, ideally within SaaS or open source environments.
Strong understanding of messaging platforms and B2B software markets.
Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
Experience working remotely with distributed teams.
Ability to collaborate across functions and manage multiple projects.
