Job Overview

• Develop and maintain advanced front-end applications using Next.js (version 14+) and React.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and fellow developers to deliver robust solutions.
• Implement best practices in software design, code quality, and performance optimization.
• Participate in agile processes, live coding, and technical assessments as part of the internal selection process.
• Contribute to a culture of transparency, feedback, and professional growth within Zup.

Key Responsibilities

• Build reusable and efficient components using React and Next.js.
• Manage routing, server-side rendering, and server components within Next.js.
• Utilize CSS Modules for modular, scalable component styling.
• Ensure code quality through thorough testing with Jest or Testing Library.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with Next.js (v14+) and React, including App Router and SSR/server components.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Experience with CSS Modules for component-based styling.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack and Babel.
• Solid understanding of Git and version control workflows (GitHub/GitLab).
• Knowledge of software design principles (SOLID, DRY) and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Testing Library).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Eligibility criteria: minimum 3 months at Zup, not engaged in another internal selection within the last 3 months, and at least 3 months in the current project.
• English proficiency required for StackSpot positions.
