Adobe After Effects Graphic Design Instructional Design Project Management

Blackbaud University is seeking a passionate Instructional Designer to create engaging and interactive online courses for our customers in the social good sector. As part of a dynamic remote-first team, you will develop educational content that enhances both technical skills and nonprofit expertise. You will collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to transform complex information into accessible, impactful learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop effective, interactive courseware using scripting, voice narration, demos, graphics, and learning activities.
Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructors, and team members to produce high-quality educational content.
Convert complex technical information into customer-facing learning materials aligned with adult learning methodologies.
Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet key milestones within rapid product release cycles.
Ensure all courseware aligns with corporate style and brand guidelines while maintaining flexibility and poise.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Instructional Design or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in corporate learning and development.
Proficiency in Articulate 360 for course development.
Exceptional writing and communication skills.
Experience in graphic design, video editing (Camtasia preferred), and audio editing (Audacity preferred).
Knowledge of motion graphics software (Adobe After Effects preferred).
Experience with caption editing software.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
Bonus: Familiarity with generative AI tools.
