Remote Senior Motion Designer

DuckDuckGo is seeking a talented Senior Motion Designer to join our fully remote team. This full-time role is open to candidates located anywhere in Canada, the UK, or the United States.

Job Overview

• Design and animate high-quality motion graphics for various digital platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring concepts and brand stories to life.
• Champion DuckDuckGo’s brand values by delivering visually compelling and privacy-respecting content.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute motion design assets for product interfaces, marketing campaigns, and social media.
• Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of motion graphics.
• Contribute to the evolution of the DuckDuckGo visual language and motion guidelines.
• Maintain consistency and quality across all motion deliverables.
• Stay up-to-date with current trends in motion design and incorporate best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a motion designer, preferably in a senior role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing advanced motion graphics and animation skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
• Knowledge of privacy-focused design is a plus.
• Eligibility to work remotely from Canada, the UK, or the United States.
