Senior Flutter Engineer Remote

As our Senior Flutter Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in architecting, developing, and optimizing a media-rich mobile application. This is a fully remote position offering autonomy, high impact, and close collaboration with our CTO.

Job Overview

• Lead the development of our core Flutter mobile application from conception to release.
• Work remotely in a fast-paced, flexible environment alongside a collaborative CTO.
• Shape the foundation of an innovative social product with significant room for growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the Flutter app architecture, development, and deployment.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO to rapidly implement and iterate on new features.
• Build, test, and optimize complex user flows for media (photos/videos) upload, compression, and storage.
• Integrate securely and efficiently with Firebase backend services.
• Lead performance tuning and establish best practices for mobile development.
• Maintain high standards for code quality, app responsiveness, and user experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of mobile development experience, including at least 3 years with Flutter.
• Proven track record building and scaling social or media-heavy mobile apps.
• Hands-on expertise in media handling, compression, and optimization for images/videos.
• Advanced proficiency with Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Storage, Functions).
• Strong product sense and proactive ownership mentality.
• Comfortable working full-time (50–60 hours/week) in a dynamic, remote-first environment.
