Join a leading Department of Defense (DoD) health IT modernization initiative as a React.js Developer. This fully remote position involves validating, testing, and refining AI-generated React code converted from legacy Ext.js applications. You will ensure that the new systems maintain full functional and security alignment with the original applications, supporting critical healthcare operations in a compliance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and validate AI-generated React.js code migrated from Ext.js.
Debug and resolve functional and performance issues to match original application behavior.
Develop and execute comprehensive tests for performance, accessibility, and functionality.
Collaborate with internal teams and government stakeholders in an Agile setting.
Apply secure coding and accessibility best practices tailored to DoD and healthcare standards.
Contribute to documentation and improvements for migration tools and QA processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship with active DoD Secret Clearance or DoD Public Trust (AFMED-compatible).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or 5+ years of programming experience.
Minimum 2 years’ experience with React, TypeScript, Ext JS, .NET Framework (C#), XML, JSON, SQL, HTML, and object-oriented design.
Demonstrated expertise with authentication, user-defined functions, structured reporting, dynamic form generation, MVC frameworks, and APIs.
Strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills in React environments.
Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
Preferred experience with AFMED, MHS GENESIS, or other Military Health Systems.
Familiarity with Ext.js legacy architecture and DoD compliance frameworks (HIPAA, FISMA).
Experience with Git, Jira, and automated testing tools is a plus.
Available for full-time or part-time (20+ hrs/week) remote work within the U.S.; W2 or 1099 only (no Corp-to-Corp).
